TERSAN SHIPYARD SIGNED CONTRACT FOR A FACTORY FREEZER TRAWLER NB1109 WITH PACIFIC FISHERY COMPANY OF RUSSIA

Tersan Shipyard Inc. (Tersan) signed contract with Pacific Fishery Company, one of Russia's leading fishing companies in the eastern fishing cluster for a factory freezer trawler with the hull number NB1109. Pacific Fishery will be the first Magadan based company in the history who has ordered a super-modern pelagic vessel.

90,65 meters long and 18,00 meters wide fishing vessel will be an advanced, technologically sophisticated factory trawler capable for trawling Alaska Pollock in the Sea of Okhotsk, as well as Herring, Mackerel and Pollock in the Pacific. The vessel will be arranged for pelagic and semi-pelagic trawling, using 2 main trawl winches working in combination with ice trawl gallows and 2 large pelagic combined sweep line- net drums. A new superefficient catch chilling system will be applied on the vessel. DeepChill liquid ice system is being made and provided to temporary buffer holding tanks.

There will be an advanced pollock factory installed onboard the vessel. In addition, pelagic lines will be installed, where Herring, Mackerel, will be filleted or round frozen. The vessel will also be capable chilling round frozen Ivashi. The Vessel will be capable to freeze 250 tons per 24 hours and her fishmeal plant has a capacity of 110 tons by raw material. The Skipsteknisk designed ST-119 PFC vessel will have accommodation for 111 people on board with spacious and comfortable living places. She will be capable for efficiently trawling in icy and arctic waters and planned to be delivered in the second quarter of 2023.
