Being the first delivery of the year, the Longliner Factory Fishing Vessel “Polar Bay” has 60,5 meters overall length with 13,0 meters beam and she is powered by a 1920 kW Yanmar main engine.
Designed by Marinteknikk, 60 meters Longliner Factory Fishing vessel will carry-out fishery operations under St.Helena flag. Beside her longlining capabilities, Polar Bay is also capable of fishing through her moonpool in the harsh weather conditions and she is outfitted with advanced fish process plant. Polar Bay has spacious accommodation opportunities up to 30 people on board. The Vessel has left Tersan Shipyard after the successful delivery process, on the 9th of February.
