Tersan Shipyard proudly announces the successful delivery of NB1122 Acta Gemini, the third vessel in a distinguished four-vessel series of Walk-to-Work (W2W), DP2 Construction Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs) built for Acta Marine. Following her completion, Acta Gemini has departed from Tersan’s Yalova facilities to commence operations. This milestone highlights Tersan’s ability to deliver highly complex offshore vessels with advanced technology, sustainable features, and superior craftsmanship. With decades of experience and modern infrastructure, Tersan has established itself as a trusted partner for international operators seeking innovative and future-ready shipbuilding solutions.
Acta Gemini is purpose-built to support offshore wind construction and maintenance activities. The vessel accommodates up to 88 personnel and is equipped with advanced offshore access systems, a helideck, and two daughter crafts, ensuring safe and efficient transfer of technicians to offshore installations. In line with the industry’s transition toward low-carbon operations, the vessel features methanol dual-fuel main engines and methanol-ready design, reflecting Tersan’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
With Acta Pegasus and Acta Hercules already delivered, and Acta Gemini now entering service, the final vessel in the series, Acta Aquarius, is scheduled for delivery later in 2026. This four-vessel program underscores Tersan Shipyard’s role as a key contributor to the modernization of the global offshore energy fleet.
